Florida Little Britches Rodeo

Come Ride with Us

Florida Little Britches is kicking off it's 7th rodeo season. We are excited to welcome back our rodeo families, old and new. We are proud of all of our kids for reaching goals last season, whether it be at the local level, at nationals, or at another function. We love to see them strive in this sport! We are looking forward to seeing them all come together again and compete, cheer each other on, and make memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

Florida Little Britches is a youth rodeo association in Florida for kids ages 5 - 18.  We are a sanctioned chapter of the NLBRA, one of the oldest rodeo associations around, and these kids will be given an opportunity to qualify and compete at the National Little Britches Finals. The NLBRA season begins each year in July after the National Finals that takes place at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Contestants must place in the top 6 at 6 rodeos per event to qualify for the NLBFR. Contestants qualifying for the National Finals will compete for buckles, saddles, scholarships, and other awards.

There are five divisions for Contestant's ages 5 - 18 (age is based on the contestant's age as of July 8, 2024)

(Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Untying, & Flag Race)

Junior Girls - ages 9 - 13 years old

During the FLBRA rodeos, contestants will compete for NLBRA points and their share of the jackpot. 60% of each entry fee goes into the jackpot (does not include stock charge). If a contestant joins the local membership, they will also compete for end of the year awards (all awards are based on the financial stability of the association). More information can be found in the NLBRA Rulebook and the FLBRA Ground Rules.

Florida Little Britches Rodeo has volunteers that are passionate about making this a successful association for our youth. Our contestants have drive, skill, passion, and sportsmanship. We always welcome new members and would love to meet you!
